He has been playing trumpet since the 5th grade and now works with trumpet professor, Rich Chasin. He plans on transferring after this year to CSU Long Beach or CSU Fullerton.
What inspired you to go into music?
I want to give back to my community where many students didn’t have the learning opportunities growing up, such as free private lessons and afterschool music programs.
What is an interesting fact about you?
I can play trumpet, flugelhorn, and trombone. I switch between all three when I play in my funk band called Nojac!
What activities do you enjoy in your spare time?
I write horn charts for my band and afterschool program where I teach at. I also enjoy playing video games with friends!
What are you most excited for about this 2024-2025 season?
I am most excited about the experience in playing in this ensemble! I have always love networking with other musicians and getting better at playing my instrument in varying ensemble settings!
