What inspired you to go into music?

For me, I enjoyed overcoming different challenges that each piece presents. I love the dopamine rush I get when I am finally able to perform a piece that sounds super cool. I love playing in groups too because of how I get to be involved with everyone blending their sounds together. I was really inspired to pursue music when I performed with my first honor band in 7th grade. I loved the way every piece sounded and wanted to continue being a part of ensembles that are filled with people who just want to make good music.

What is an interesting fact about you?

I love rock climbing and am left handed.

What activities do you enjoy in your spare time?

I enjoy rock climbing, playing board games, and being involved in different events at my church.

What are you most excited for about this 2024-2025 season?

I am excited to make music that are my friends and play through a very diverse program of pieces.
