Biography
Lauren Ciaccio has had a lifetime love of music, beginning with recorder at an early age. In 2000, she took up flute and began her formal music education, with other wind instruments to follow over the years. As a young musician, she participated in Riverside Community College's honor band, as well as the official Tournament of Roses honor band. During her time at University of California, Riverside, she played lead flute in the wind ensemble and bass trombone in the jazz ensemble. She currently works in elementary education, and enjoys any opportunity to share her passion for music.
What inspired you to go into music?
I was always drawn to music at a young age. When I first joined band, I had wanted to become very involved in school. While my other commitments faded throughout my educational career, my love for music only grew.
What is an interesting fact about you?
My favorite color is orange.
What activities do you enjoy in your spare time?
Video games, gardening, and jogging.
What are you most excited for about this 2024-2025 season?
The opportunity to play challenging and fun music!
