What inspired you to go into music?

I was inspired to pursue music by previous band directors who showed and gave me opportunities to teach other students. Since then I’ve only grown in my desire to teach and inspire the next generations of musicians.

What is an interesting fact about you?

I play marimba/xylophone and just competed in Winter Guard International Championships in Dayton, Ohio. I also teach a Middle school and High school drumline in my local school district.

What activities do you enjoy in your spare time?

I enjoy performing and gigging in a Funk/Soul band with my friends across Southern California.

What are you most excited for about this 2024-2025 season?

I am most excited to have more opportunities to perform new music in different environments.
